Hennion & Walsh Supports Gift of Life Family House with ‘Annual Mulligan on Life’ Golf Outing

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — ‘Jackson’s 11th Annual Mulligan on Life’ Golf Outing will be held on May 18th at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, N.J. The charity event, sponsored by Hennion & Walsh, a provider of investment services based in Parsippany, aims to raise funds to support organ donation programs.

The Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit Gift of Life Family House, which provides affordable lodging and support to transplant patients and their families, will receive all donated funds, which are to be administered through the Transplant Foundation, also a 501(c)(3) charity.

Hennion & Walsh, the annual sponsor, named the fundraiser in honor of young organ recipient Jackson Heller. Jackson’s father,Gregg Heller, is a longtime Hennion & Walsh employee.

“At Hennion & Walsh, we consider all our employees family. By sponsoring this annual event to benefit Gift of Life Family House, we can make a difference in other family’s lives who may have to undergo the tough day to day of recovering from an organ transplant,” said Bill Walsh, President and founding Partner of Hennion & Walsh.

Jackson was born with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease, and endured two successive liver transplants as a baby. These transplants required Jackson to spend months at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, often requiring his parents to make a daily grueling round trip from their N.J. home each day.

“After watching one of our employees struggle with the logistics surrounding his son’s organ transplant, we knew we had to help. We are honored to work with Gift of Life Family House and provide support to other transplant patients and families,” said Rich Hennion, Founding Partner of Hennion & Walsh.
