Role Description
Hennion & Walsh is seeking an energetic and motivated Campus Recruiter in our Parsippany, NJ location. We are looking for an outgoing spirit who can identify talent and help train individuals. This role is a Human Resources Generalist with a focus in Campus Recruiting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full life cycle hiring process for all hires: sourcing and interviewing candidates, negotiating offers and orientation into new positions
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with target schools throughout the Northeast and coordinate with key campus resources to evaluate and recruit
  • Represent the Hennion & Walsh brand by marketing employment opportunities at career fairs and campus visits (travel required)
  • Create and construct attractive job descriptions and engaging marketing materials
  • Assist in development and ongoing training of new hires, including the preparation for the Series 7 exam
  • Responsible for time sensitive and confidential documentation of new hires and terminations, and ensure information is properly completed and filed (applications, reference and background checks, Cobra notifications and U-5’s)
  • Handle enrollment in employee benefits plan (medical, dental, life insurance, and 401k)

Insurance Specialist

Role Description
Hennion & Walsh, Inc. seeks an energetic, motivated insurance professional to help grow our wealth advisor group.  The Insurance Specialist will assist our Financial Advisors with all of their clients’ insurance needs.  An understanding of the intricacy of high net worth individuals and an in depth knowledge of life insurance, long term care, estate planning, and annuities are a must.

Individuals are living longer and we are looking for the right personality to inform our clients on the important role that insurance can play.  A proven track record of success and expertise in insurance sales is essential.  A focus in advanced insurance sales; estate planning cases, buy/sell agreements, and wealth transfers is required.  You will be working with our sales force in managing relationships with new and existing clients.  You will be making presentations on products that can help our clients prepare for the future.  You must be comfortable negotiating and interacting with outside insurance companies and attorneys to formulate the right insurance packages and estate plans.  We are looking for someone with the ability to motivate and guide our Financial Advisors on the purpose of insurance and its’ value to their clients.

Asset Management Sales Executive

Candidates with previous financial services sales experience preferred, ideally to individual investors, and need to be actively licensed.

Responsibilities

  • Following up with high net worth individuals in multiple states, primarily on the East Coast, who expressed an interest in Hennion & Walsh over the phone and face to face
  • Explore with high net worth individuals how Hennion & Walsh’s unique target-risk strategy may be to the benefit of their portfolios
  • Help high net worth individuals through the sales process and transition them to becoming a client
  • Identify and close sales opportunities
  • Be articulate, assertive, charismatic, confident, energetic, and ambitious
  • Have exceptional time management, territory management and organizational skills
  • Work out of Hennion & Walsh headquarters in Parsippany, NJ but ability to travel

Experience

  • Series 66 (65 & 63) required, Series 7 a plus
  • 5+ years of financial services sales experience (preferably with individual investors)
  • Track record of documented sales success relative to peers
  • Sales experience in asset management industry a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
